Information we use
When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, message and any business details you choose to share. Our website provider, Squarespace, also processes technical information such as IP address, browser and device details and requests made to the site to deliver and protect it. Please do not send confidential tender documents or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form. Providing an enquiry is voluntary, but we need contact details to reply.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to answer questions, discuss an opportunity and scope requested support. Where you are personally considering a contract with us, the basis is taking steps at your request before a contract. Where you represent a business, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to relevant business enquiries. We rely on legitimate interests to protect the site and handle disputes, and legal obligations where records must be retained by law. Optional analytics cookies rely on your consent. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell personal information or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Providers and international processing
Squarespace hosts the site and processes form submissions. Business email is provided through 123 Reg/Titan. Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam; Google may process device, network and interaction information. See Google’s privacy policy and terms. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities when necessary for advice, legal duties or claims.
Providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Squarespace’s data processing addendum describes its transfer safeguards, including applicable adequacy arrangements and standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum. 123 Reg’s data processing addendum describes its arrangements. Contact us for further information or copies of safeguards relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry records only while needed to respond, follow up on the opportunity or resolve an outstanding issue. Retention depends on whether work proceeds, any continuing correspondence, applicable recordkeeping duties and the need to establish or defend a legal claim. Information no longer needed should be deleted from form storage and email. If you become a client, the scope of client records and retention will be addressed when the work is agreed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. Contact the email above to exercise these rights.
Right to object: You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, for reasons relating to your situation.
You can withdraw optional cookie consent at any time using Cookie Preferences. This does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to resolve concerns.
Cookies
Necessary cookies support the operation and security of the website and remember cookie choices. Optional Squarespace analytics cookies help measure visits and are restricted until you accept them. The visitor activity log is disabled. Choose Decline all to refuse optional cookies, or Manage cookies to select preferences. Use the Cookie Preferences control to change your choice later.
Squarespace analytics cookies can include ss_cid (visitor identifier, two years), ss_cvr (visit history, two years), ss_cvisit (visit timestamp, 30 minutes), ss_cvt (session timing, 30 minutes) and ss_cpvisit (visit timestamp, two years). These are optional. Google reCAPTCHA may use security cookies and technical signals on the contact page. See Squarespace’s cookie information for provider details and durations. Browser settings also let you remove cookies; blocking necessary cookies may affect site functions.
Changes
We will update this notice when the website or our use of information changes. The date above identifies this version.
Website terms & conditions
Last updated: 6 October 2026
About this website
These terms cover use of the Navis Tender Support website. The operator is Katy Stone, a sole trader trading as Navis Tender Support, at 11 King Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee, DD5 1HE, United Kingdom. Questions can be sent to katy@navistender.co.uk. The site introduces tender support for businesses.
Enquiries and paid work
Sending an enquiry does not book a service or create an obligation to buy. Any paid work requires a separate written agreement covering scope, fees, timing, responsibilities, confidentiality, data handling and cancellation. These website terms do not replace that agreement.
Information and samples
Website information and downloadable samples are general illustrations, not advice tailored to your business. The sample assessment uses a fictional contractor and a historical tender; it is not client work, a complete compliance review or a current opportunity recommendation. Verify the buyer’s current documents and requirements before acting. Navis does not guarantee eligibility, submission acceptance or a contract award. You remain responsible for your technical commitments, pricing, evidence and final submission approval. Seek appropriate legal or technical advice where needed.
Permitted use
You may view the site and download the sample for your own internal business evaluation. Unless otherwise stated, original Navis text and materials remain the property of their rights holder. Do not resell or republish them as your own, misrepresent a sample as client work, interfere with the site, introduce malicious software or use the enquiry form unlawfully. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Availability and links
We aim to keep information accurate but it may change or become outdated. The website may be updated or temporarily unavailable. External links are supplied for convenience; we do not control those sites or their content.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limits applicable to paid services must be agreed separately. These terms do not affect rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
Privacy and changes
The privacy and cookie notice above explains how website and enquiry information is handled. Updated website terms will appear here with a revised date; changes do not retrospectively alter an agreed service contract.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by Scots law. Any mandatory legal rights and jurisdiction protections continue to apply.
